Hans-Peter Rüfli advises and represents domestic and foreign clients for over 20 years in a targeted and comprehensive manner in the field of intellectual property law, in particular in trademark and design law as well as in company law and has an excellent international network.

He has extensive experience in the strategic development, evaluation and defence of national and international trademark and design portfolios and is very familiar with the respective instances in national conflicts, such as with the Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Federal Administrative Court or the Federal Supreme Court.

His other areas of practice include competition law (unfair competition and advertising law) and domain law, whereby he has proven expertise in dispute resolution proceedings for domains (UDRP) before WIPO.

Hans-Peter Rüfli studied law in Berne and was admitted to the bar in 1988. He also obtained the title of Executive M.B.L.-HSG at the University of St. Gallen (1999).
